What was your dream when you were a child? / 子供の頃の夢は?
When I was a child, I really wanted two things; to become a teacher and a small business owner. Now that I am a teacher, I am still thinking and pursuing the latter. Gambarimasu!
What is your hobby? / 趣味は?
At present, I am into watching various dramas (American, Korean, Japanese, Chinese) and some Japanese anime. However, I cannot understand these languages except English. With the help of the English subtitles, I am able to understand the stories though. It is quite difficult to point out the best drama because, so far, all of those I already watched were impressive and inspiring. They taught me a great deal of things as well; e.g. about life, family, relationship, etc.
What are you skilled in? / 特技は?
This is slightly hard as I have no guts to say that I am utterly special in something. All I can say is I can do many things in moderation. I am able to sing, dance, communicate people from different countries, etc. If there is one thing I like about myself, I guess that would be my level of confidence. I am confident in doing something for the first time, especially if it is beneficial to me.
What is your favorite food? / 好きな食べ物は?
A local Filipino food consisting of rice, vegetable soup and fried fish. I have other preferences too (Japanese, Korean, etc.)
Which country or place do you want to go someday? / いつか訪れてみたい国や場所は?
Since my elementary years, I have always wanted to pay a visit to China where The Great Wall is located. I am captivated with the fact that it is one of the things that can be seen from the moon. Furthermore, and if time permits, I would like to explore many countries in the future, too.
Suppose you were an animal, then what would you think you were? / もしも自分が動物ならどんな動物だと思う?
A cat.
Let me say I have some similar behaviour to a cat. I can be very friendly and gentle to people who are good to me. I can be very sweet and is willing to help someone ease their burdens and hardships. On the contrary, I am nasty when I am angry. It is very obvious to my facial expressions when someone tries to harm me or if I despise someone else.
Message to Students / 生徒様へのメッセージ
To my former students, thank you for allowing me to be part of your English learning journey in the past few months and years. I know and I believe you had done well while learning, and even so continue learning.
- To my present students, be motivated to learn all the time. When you feel tired in learning, do not stop. Instead, just take a moment to rest and resume learning afterwards.
- To my soon-to-be students, you are very much welcome to join my classes. I am much too willing to impart my knowledge and share many things with you.
Finally, to everyone, let us work hand in hand in the English learning process. I am looking forward to seeing you in my class.
